The Department for Education plans to draft and consult on revised guidance documents on elective home education for local authorities and parents, according to academies minister Lord Theodore Agnew.

Prospect calls for Royal Navy work to go to Rosyth

With workers at the Rosyth Dockyard in Fife facing 250 redundancies, Prospect, the biggest union on site, is calling for a package of Royal Navy work to be awarded to the dockyard. The work includes the already scheduled refit of HMS Scott and yet to be allocated work on Type 45 destroyers.
