The House of Commons Business, Energy and Industrial  Committee has today published a report on executive pay which calls for Britain’s biggest companies to cap salaries for CEOs and align them more closely with workers, or face the wrath of a new regulator.

Staff at Tate are being balloted by their trade union, Prospect, on strike action over a proposed real terms pay cut for  2018-19.

Prospect members at SONI, who operate the electricity transmission system for Northern Ireland, have voted to take industrial action, up to and including strike action.
