Computacenter Pay 2012 – Offer received

3 February 2012

Negotiations have now concluded in the Computacenter Pay review of 2012.

The company have now tabled a final offer of a 2% increase to the total paybill.  This increase to paybill will be distributed as a 1.8% flat rate increase to all members with the remaining 0.2% used to uplift the 6 members on the lowest salaries to a new range minimum of £36.950.42.

Whilst the company had this year sought to introduce performance related pay we reflected the concerns members had with the way in which performance is currently managed. We were unable to get to a position where those concerns could be addressed sufficiently for us to agree to link pay to performance.  We do however believe that the company will seek to introduce performance related pay in future years and they have asked to discuss performance management at our next quarterly meeting.

You will now be balloted on this offer and your representatives recommend that you vote to accept it. It is comparable to average increases for managers and professionals across the private sector and your CWU colleagues in Computacenter.

We have arranged a call to discuss this with you which I hope you will be able to attend.  If you are not able to make that call but would like to discuss this in more detail please contact Andy Kimpton or John Marsh in the first instance.  If you wish to contact me please dial 020 8971 6060.
