Arriving by public transport

Train

International House is a 15-20 minute walk from Wakefield Westgate station. From the station turn right onto Mulberry Way, follow the road to the crossroads then turn right onto Westgate and walk under the railway bridge. Cross over the road and take the first turning on the left onto Quebec Street. At the traffic lights cross over the road onto Charlesworth Way entering the retail park; follow Charlesworth Way through the retail park. At the exit from the retail park cross over the roundabout onto Waldorf Way. At the end of Waldorf Way you will see a railway arch with a security gate, after passing security International House is the first building on the right.

Bus

Metro's Wakefield freecitybus links key locations around Wakefield city centre including Westgate train station, Kirkgate train station, the bus station, shops and retail parks. The free city bus follows a circular route, buses run every 10-12 minutes from 07:30 to 18:40 Monday to Fridays. Stop number 7, Charlesworth Way, if the closest to International House, from there cross over the roundabout onto Waldorf Way and follow the directions above.
