Affected by redundancy or organisational change?
Prospect can provide a range of information, advice and support during redundancy situations through its members' assistance programme (MAP).
MAP is an umbrella term for the various services Prospect can provide to members facing redundancy. It can include subject-specific workshops or briefings, eg financial management, one-to-one career surgeries, and workshops about becoming self-employed. Some services are provided by Prospect direct; others are provided by third party organisations.
How to get advice and support
If you and your colleagues are facing redundancy, we can liaise with your branch reps about running the MAP service in your workplace. One of your branch officers or reps should email us as early as possible in the redundancy situation.
