2014 conference: 'Enabling health & safety'

Held in London on 5 March, the 2014 conference was in two parts:

  • Stress and well being – including the launch of Prospect's stress, stigma, solutions pack and tyranny of performance management
  • Rights and regulatory reform – including 'union effect', international H&S and the TUC's Time to Change manifesto.

One hundred Prospect H&S reps attended and heard presentations from Professors Cary Cooper (stress); Phil Taylor (performance management); Dave Walters (the union effect). The TUC's head of equality and employment rights, Sarah Veale, outlined the TUC's manifesto Time to Change.

Headline results of the Prospect H&S rep survey were shared with the participants.

The presentations and the new guidance which was launched at the conference can be downloaded by clicking in the campaigns and events area of the website.
