Prospect in Scotland

With more than 11,500 Prospect members living and working in Scotland across both the private and public sector, Prospect in Scotland is much more than just a microcosm of the UK.

From the Scottish Parliament, national galleries, the Forestry Commission and the Scottish National Trust to energy companies, dockyards and airports, Prospect members provide the same level of expertise and commitment to professional standards as anywhere else in the UK.

Latest Scotland news

The UK Government today launched it's new National Shipbuilding Strategy for the Navy. The strategy is heavily influenced by Sir John Parkers independent report published in 2016 which Prospect supported  

Prospect union has welcomed the statement by the Scottish Government that it is to lift the 1% cap on public sector pay for 2017-18 and will base future rises on “the cost of living”.

The Scottish Government today published it's most recent Programme for Government. The Programme makes clear that the Scottish Government will end the pay cap for civil and public servants working for the Holyrood administration in 2018.
