News of further job losses comes as blow for members working at Rosyth dockyard.

Prospect national secretary for Scotland Richard Hardy raised the concerns of members around public sector pay and the future of shipbuilding at a meeting between the general council of the Scottish Trades Union Congress and First Minister Nicola Sturgeon yesterday (5 March).

Prospects Historic Environment Scotland branch will be celebrating International Women's Day with a screening of the 2010 film Made in Dagenham about the equal pay disputes at Fords motor plant in 1968. The screening will be  in G9 at Longmore House, at 1700 for a 1730 start. Refreshments are available
