With more than 11,500 Prospect members living and working in Scotland across both the private and public sector, Prospect in Scotland is much more than just a microcosm of the UK.

After protracted negotiations Prospect today noted the Scottish Governments pay proposals for 2017 as being the best achievable through negotiations.

The UK Government today launched it's new National Shipbuilding Strategy for the Navy. The strategy is heavily influenced by Sir John Parkers independent report published in 2016 which Prospect supported  

Prospect union has welcomed the statement by the Scottish Government that it is to lift the 1% cap on public sector pay for 2017-18 and will base future rises on “the cost of living”.
