Historic Scotland

Historic Scotland is an executive agency within the Scottish Government and is directly responsible to Scottish Ministers for safeguarding the nation's built heritage, and promoting its understanding and enjoyment. Areas covered are conservation, listed buildings, ancient monuments and historical sites.
