Prospect is the only union recognised by SAC management to represent its employees.
The Branch has a conference every two years which elects an Executive committee and Branch Officers. Committee meetings are held quarterly and representatives meet regularly with the company via both formal negotiating meetings and informal meetings with SAC management. The branch is actively involved in discussions and negotiations with management on issues including pay and conditions, Pensions, Health & Safety, performance management, annual leave, maternity/paternity rights, genuine reward for performance, professional development and procedures for fair treatment. The branch seeks to provide the greatest level of support it can to its members.
