Defence, Maritime and Logistics group (DMLG)DMLG represents the interests of 18,000 Prospect members employed in the defence industry across the public and private sectors. It: - debates issues on defence industrial policy to establish a Prospect view
- co-ordinates Prospect communications and lobbying related to defence industrial policy
- produces research and submissions to government, the CSEU and other stakeholders.
The group was officially launched in December 2007 at a seminar attended by leading figures from government, parliament and industry. The seminar - "Our future in defence" - was an opportunity for business and government to set out their views and for Prospect to set out the challenges for its members over the coming years.
