MOD value your specialists posterMinistry of Defence group

Prospect has over 9,000 members working in the Ministry of Defence. They are spread across the department, with the largest concentration being in the Defence Equipment & Support organisation, and include virtually all specialisms from engineering and science, to press officers and intelligence analysts. We are strongly represented in the MOD trading fund agencies such as the Met Office and Dstl.

Our members are organised into a number of branches based on their MOD organisation or agency. But many of our day-to-day negotiations are employer-wide and affect all those branches. the Our MOD Group enables us to make a co-ordinated response on their behalf. The MOD group is primarily supported by a negotiating team based in Prospect HQ, although some MOD branches are looked after by regional offices.
