Prospect branches

Branches are the key unit of organisation for our members.

There are over 250 branches in Prospect.

Most are employer-based, like our National Trust branch, whose members all work for the same employer but are scattered across the UK in over 300 locations.

Others, like our archaeologists branch, represent staff in more than 20 different employers. As the union for archaeologists we are working to raise their status and establish a proper career structure for them, so it makes sense to organise them into a single branch.

There are also a number of regional branches. These contain small groups of members from various employers which are too small to form their own branches, or individual members who work for employers where Prospect is not recognised.

eBranches

Many of our branches have their own eBranch - a private area of the website which can only be accessed by their members. They automatically get access to the eBranch when they log into the site.
