Civil service pay briefing 2009-10

The 2008 Civil Service Sector Conference agreed a policy which aimed to secure at least a 2% pay increase for most members. This provided a clear policy direction across the sector, helping Prospect branches to highlight an important area of concern for our members. This pay briefing aims to refine our approach to the 2009-10 pay negotiations in light of the publication of this year’s pay remit guidance; and sets out a medium-term strategy on specialist pay.
