Prospect  has  warned that the government’s Strategic Defence and Security Review is in shreds.

Civil servants in Prospect have voted to accept the deal negotiated between unions and the government on the shape of their pension scheme from 2015.

On behalf of the majority of workers at Highlands & Islands Airports, Prospect has agreed to postpone the one-day strike at Dundee airport planned for Monday, (April 30) to allow further talks over pay harmonisation with colleagues at other Scottish airports.

Prospect, the union for the majority of workers at Highlands&Islands Airports) says members at Dundee airport will take one-day strike action on Monday, April 30, immediately followed by a work-to-rule, including an overtime ban.

Prospect says members at Dundee airport have voted unaminously in favour of taking industrial action over a 2011 pay offer and harmonisation with colleagues at other Scottish airports.
