Women in science: How is it for you?
08 Mar 2012
Prospect is carrying out a survey into the experiences of women working in scientific roles in England, Scotland and Wales.
The aim of the survey, part of a research project by national executive committee member Helen Kenny, is to gather information about why women stay in or leave science, and whether there are differences in women’s experience based on employer, discipline and sector.
The union is also interested in hearing from women with caring responsibilities and whether having children has had an impact on their career.
The survey, which will be launched on March 8, International Women’s Day, is short and shouldn’t take more than ten minutes to complete.
The deadline for responses is the April 2, 2012. Please urge any eligible women in your workplace to take part.
