The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) Branch of Prospect represents Scientists, Engineers and Technologists throughout the whole of the NERC.We negotiate on Terms and Conditions, including pay. We can also assist members who have individual or collective issues with their workplace. In recent years your Prospect representatives have negotiated improvements in:

  • Annual Leave Allowances
  • Maternity and Paternity Leave
  • Pay increases above RPI inflation
  • Flexible Working arrangements
Prospect representatives have worked with NERC management to: 
  • improve Health and Safety
  • introduce stress audits
  • improve the Green credentials of NERC
