Career support services
Prospect's career services are designed to help members manage their career in a changing environment.
We can also help if you want to refresh certain skills or learn new ones.
We provide support in the form of face to face intervention, online, via the telephone or by group sessions. These services are delivered by both Prospect and external providers.

The OU has also developed a 'Beyond Recession' website. While most of the content was developed specifically for Wales, it includes a lot of widely useful information.
Finally, the OU also runs its own careers advisory service website.
Birkbeck University offers a 10% discount to trade union members on all its courses. It also has a very practical and useful free site called Get Ahead, Stay Ahead. This can help you refresh your study skills, achieve your goals and develop other key transferable skills such as presentational skills.
CD lending library
Members can access our FREE CD Lending Libraries which offer self-study CD ROMs on languages, IT, personal development, lifestyle and family learning.
UnionLearn offers a free, impartial, confidential service which helps people to develop new skills, improve their job prospects or change jobs.
