Ultimately, national union policies are set by our national conference, which is held every two years.

Our sectors (civil service, energy, telecoms), deal with policy issues that are specific to them.

The chart below shows how decisions are made and policies are set; individual members can raise issues at a local level that can be taken through their branch conference, right up to national conference level.
